Ice breaker speech
Title: About Me
Time: 3 - 4 Minutes
---------------
Good morning, everyone!
I am Akil Arun Kumar, and I am happy to introduce myself to you all.
My father’s native place is Thathankottai, a village near Dindigul, and I love going there to play with my friends and family. My mother’s native place is Sethur, a village near Rajapalayam. Now, we live in Medavakkam.
Let me tell you about my family. My father, Arun Kumar, is very strict and always tells me what to do, but I know he wants the best for me. My mother, Agalya Devi, is very kind and soft, and I love that about her. I have a naughty little brother, Arjun, who makes things fun at home. My grandparents, Kumuthavalli and Kalimuthu, always pamper me, and I love being with them. My parents believe that my grandparents spoil me too much!
I study in 3rd standard at Medavakkam Vista School. I love science and enjoy learning new things—I am a quick learner!
My hobbies are playing cricket, spending time with my friends, and drawing pictures. I also love bedtime stories and have finished listening to Ponniyin Selvan, Sivagamiyin Sabatham, and Sujatha’s stories as podcasts. My grandmother and father also tell me bedtime stories, which I really enjoy!
Among all the characters, I love Arulmozhi Varman from Ponniyin Selvan because he is brave, kind and strong leader and Mahendra Chakravarthy from Sivagamiyin Sabatham, as he is a wise and strong king.
When I was younger, I was crazy about trucks, dinosaurs, and Godzilla. But now, I really love Naruto!
My biggest dream is to become a cricket player one day!
That’s all about me. Thank you for listening!
