Good evening every one!!! Today I am going to tell a short story. There were 2 friends- Ram and Raju. Raju invited Ram to his house over a weekend. So Ram went to Raju’s house and played there. Raju’s mother served them a sweet. Ram liked it very much and he asked Raju’s mother ‘Aunty!!! What is this sweet? If is very delicious.’ Raju’s mother said - “It is KADUBU”. After then, both Ram and Raju spent the whole day joyfully. In the evening, when Ram was about to leave, he again asked Raju’s mother, “Aunty, what is the sweet name? KADU….???”. Raju’s mother again told the sweet name smilingly- “KADUBU”. Ram bid good bye and started walking home. Throughout the way, he was releasing the sweet name, so he will not forget it.

KADUBU, KADUBU, KADUBU, KADUBU….

He did not notice the small rock and hit on it. He tumbled and fell down. He then got up, dusted his clothes, cleared up his hands and started to walk home again. Now, he got to know that he forgot the sweet name. “Ah… I forgot the sweet name, what is it? Is it BUKADU? BUKADI????”

“Yes…, it is DUBUKA. And started to repeat this name until he reach home. 

When he reached honey, he went in search of his mother and told how happily he spent his day with Raju. 

He asked his mother “Ma, can you prepare me DUBUKA?, I ate in Raju’s home, it was very yummy”.

“DUBUKA? What is it? I have never heard this before” his mother told in a confused look and went away.

Ram became sad and sat in a corner almost like crying. To pacify Ram, Ram’s mother prepared a sweet which she knew. On seeing the sweet, Ram jumped out of joy and screamed - “Yeah, this is DUBUKA”.

Ram’s mother couldn’t control the laughter and told - “This is KADUBU”.  Ram ate all of the sweet dumplings and almost emptied the plate. This will be a nice sweet memory for Ram and he will never forget the name if the sweet again.
